Taunia Lynn Borsellino
July 17, 1981 – May 29, 2026 It is with great sadness that we share the news of Taunia Lynn Borsellino’s passing on May 29, 2026, at the age of 44. Taunia was born on July 17, 1981, in Newmarket, Ontario, to Rick and Cindy Tracey from Sutton, Ontario. She had a big personality that lit up every room she entered. Her warm smile and contagious laughter made everyone feel welcome and appreciated. As a loving mother, devoted Catholic, and friend to many, she spread happiness wherever she went and had a special talent for bringing people together. Much of Taunia’s life was dedicated to her faith. She worked as Youth Minister at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Keswick before taking on roles as Parish Secretary and coordinator for the Rite of Christian Initiation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Kirkfield. With her beautiful singing voice, she often performed alongside her siblings during Masses, retreats, and church gatherings. In 2002, Taunia married Chris Borsellino. Together they created a family rooted in love and faith. Above all else, Taunia loved being a mother to her four kids-Nate, Bella, Allie, and Gabe-who brought immense joy to her life. She is survived by her husband and children along with her parents Rick and Cindy Tracey; sister Katrina (Rick) Hafenbredl with family; sister Carissa (Patrick) Douglas with family; brother Tyler (Lauren) Tracey with family; plus numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Taunia was preceded in death by her dear younger sister Allison Tracey. While there is now a huge gap left behind by her departure, her family takes solace in their belief in the Resurrection and hope that she rests peacefully in God’s embrace whom she served faithfully throughout her life. Visitation: Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p. m. and again from 7:00-9:00 p. m. at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home in Sutton Ontario. Mass of Christian Burial: Friday June 5th ,2026 at 1:00 p. m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church located in Keswick Ontario. Memorial Donations: Flowers are warmly accepted. The family also invites Mass intentions and prayers for Taunia and those close to her. Those who knew Taunia understand that one meaningful way to honor her would be to love everyone you meet just as Christ taught us.
