Susan Rose Nabigon passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, at the age of 67, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, surrounded by her loving family.

Susan will be remembered for her kind nature, gentle soul, and the endless love she had for her family. Her spirit will continue to shine through the stories shared by loved ones and in the hearts of everyone she touched.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Christopher Nabigon, as well as her son Kody and daughter Sarah-Angel Rose. She also lost her brothers-in-law Edward (late Darlene), Stan (Alice), Wilfred (Catherine) and sisters-in-law Alvina (late Arnold), Imelda (late Gunther), Adele, and Dorothy.

Susan is survived by her devoted sons, Christopher Jr. (Sharon) and Kyle, who were everything to her. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Lesley and Logan. Additionally, she is mourned by her brother Barry (Sandra), sisters Jennifer (Clyde), Donalda (Mitch), Carol (Keith), Mary-ann (Thomas), sister-in-law Delphine (Gaetan) and brother-in-law Darcy. Numerous nieces and nephews also held a special place in her heart.

Susan enjoyed going for drives and spending time at the camp with her husband, making memories that stayed with her throughout life. As a dedicated hockey mom, she could often be found at the rink cheering for her boys while they played their favorite sport. Growing up, Susan fondly remembered being part of a women’s baseball team called The Beavers with her sisters and cousins. One of the highlights of her life was listening to her nieces sing. She loved supporting all of them along with community kids in their hockey games while celebrating their achievements together. Family gatherings brought Susan immense joy; she felt happiest when surrounded by those she loved.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, Wilson Memorial Hospital, and Biigtigong Mno-zhi yaawgamig for their kindness during Susan’s last days.

Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten.
