We are heartbroken to share that Paul Christopher Brush passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2026, in Englehart, Ontario, at the age of 67. He was born on August 12, 1958, in Huntsville, Ontario. Paul was a beloved member of his community and a devoted family man.

Paul spent his life working in carpentry and construction. He earned his A1 license and became highly skilled in concrete work-a job he truly loved. Known for his strong work ethic, Paul left school at just 16 to help support his family, starting off on a dairy farm. His dedication was clear not only in his work but also in how he treated those around him.

A kind-hearted person with a generous spirit, Paul always offered a helping hand to family, friends, and even strangers when they needed it most. He had a special love for animals, particularly his puppy Boo Boo who brought him great happiness. Paul found comfort in his home and enjoyed relaxing on the couch while keeping an eye on his cherished 501 weather station.

In his free time, Paul loved fishing and camping whenever he could-activities that let him enjoy nature and create wonderful memories with those he cared about.

He is survived by his loving wife Debbie Brush-affectionately called Duckie-and their children: Laura, Chris, Kenny “Donkey,” Tyler “Turkey,” and Shannon “Pumpkin.” He was also a devoted grandfather known as Poppa Mawa to Willow, Popa Paul to Henry Paul, and Grandpa to Cody.

His dear friend John Mc Callum will miss him greatly along with Mary Ann. Paul’s mother-in-law Muriel and father-in-law Gary Mc Callum held him close to their hearts as did many other family members and friends. He will be missed dearly by Cindy, Ken, Ray and Joan, Ted and Darlene, Ruth, Mike and Gerry, Matt and Carla, Fred along with all of his nieces and nephews.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Ron and Laura Brush as well as by his sister Dorothy.

A Celebration of Life will take place in honor of Paul on February 13, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Billingsley Funeral Home located at 430 Ravenscliffe Road in Huntsville Ontario P1H 1L7. In lieu of flowers or gifts please consider making memorial donations to Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in Paul’s name.

Paul Christopher Brush will always be remembered for his kindness generosity along with devotion to family and friends. He continues to live on in the hearts of all who knew him well.
