It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Masse. She peacefully left us while at The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County on August 13, 2025, at the age of 75, after bravely fighting cancer.

Susan was born to the late Ernest and Rita Rabideau. She was a loving mother to Angy Masse (Evan Martin) and a proud Nana to Jacob Masse, who brought so much happiness into her life. She was preceded in death by her sister and will be fondly remembered by her brothers and their wives, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.

Family meant everything to Susan. Her kind heart and generous nature were always evident as she eagerly helped others and spread joy around her. She found true happiness in life’s simple moments-sharing meals and making memories with family and friends filled her soul. Her gentle spirit, warmth, love, and laughter made a lasting impact on everyone she met and will remain in their hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. in Windsor on Monday, August 18th from 3:00-5:00 pm and again from 7:00-9:00 pm. On Tuesday, August 19th, there will be one last visitation from 10:00-11:00 am followed by the funeral service starting at 11:00 am at the Windsor Chapel – Banwell funeral home. Cremation will follow after the service. A private family interment is planned for Victoria Memorial Gardens at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor Susan’s memory can make donations to The Hospice of Windsor and Essex County in recognition of the support they provided to her and her family during this time.
