Sharon Lea Gill, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Windsor, Ontario, on July 6, 2026.

Born in Indian Head, Saskatchewan, Sharon grew up on the family farm. Throughout her life, she balanced a career in banking with a deep commitment to her faith and community. She dedicated many years to providing essential administrative support to the Church of God alongside her husband, Randall. Together, they were passionate about youth ministry and inspired countless young people through their involvement in youth programs, young adult ministry, summer camps, teaching music at International Bible College, and working at Sonshine women’s shelter.

Beyond serving others, Sharon had many creative talents. She was an amazing baker whose goodies brought people together, a skilled painter, and an enthusiastic gardener with a natural talent for growing both flowers and vegetables. Sharon will be remembered for her generous spirit, kindness to everyone she met, and the way she could engage anyone in conversation as if they were old friends.

Daughter of Olga Holeska (d. 1982) and Irvine Gill (d. 2003), sister of David (d. 1987) and surviving sister Sandra (Lyndon). She is survived by her loving husband Randall and her two dear sons along with their families: Brian and his wife Julieta with children Marcus and Naomi; Braden and his wife Claire with children Henry and James. She was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. The love Sharon shared will continue to resonate within all who knew her.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Rd. East, Windsor, ON) on Friday, July 10, 2026 from 5:30 pm – 8 pm. Interment is scheduled for Saturday morning; July 11, 2026 at Windsor Memorial Gardens (1100 Division Rd., Windsor ON) starting at 10 am. We’ll be processing to the cemetery together; if you wish to join us please arrive at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location by 9 am as we will leave promptly at 9:20 am. Everyone is welcome to meet directly at the cemetery if preferred. Family and friends are invited afterward to the Gathering Church (2401 Columbus Ave., Windsor ON) for the Funeral Service at 11:30 am followed by a reception.

If you’d like to share a brief memory of Sharon during the service please reach out to Brian at sohquick@gmail. com. Timing will be limited; thank you.

If you’d like to send flowers please have them delivered before visitation hours to: Family of Sharon Quick c/o Windsor Chapel – Banwell Location (11677 Tecumseh Rd East Windsor ON N8N 1L8).
