The heart of the family has been called to be a special angel at the age of 78. A caring and loving wife to her husband Achille for 57 years. Mother to Angelo (Angela), Elizabeth-Rose, Jo-Ann, and Salvatore. Nonna (Nana) to Antonios-Joseph (AJ), Helana, Joe, Isabella, John Achille, and Vittoria. Predeceased by her parents Salvatore and Anna Mannarino and her in-laws Angelo and Giovanna Verardi.
Rosa had a fulfilling career with TD Bank for over 45 years. She loved cooking and feeding the family with her homemade meals (especially her meatballs) and enjoyed having everyone around. Rosa was passionate about music, books, sports, and lifelong learning. She collected pens from everywhere she went. Above all else, her grandchildren brought her immense joy.
The family wants to extend their gratitude to the nurses at WRH – Met Campus, 4th floor and ICU, along with the staff at Hospice Windsor and St. Elizabeth for their dedicated care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 3-5 pm and again from 7-9 pm. Parish prayers will take place at 4:30 pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 9 am until the procession begins at 9:30 am for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Atonement Parish. Entombment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
