Mo Kolody, 79, passed away on November 3, 2025.

He is survived by his wife Marlene, his partner in life and business for 60 years. He also leaves behind his loving children Kathy Beuglet (Tim) and David Kolody (Corinne).

Mo was predeceased by his parents Joe and Pauline Kolody. He was a dear brother to Emily Rocheleau (Gary), Vera Mc Leod (Dave), and Lisa Kolody (Stephen Coleman).

Mo took great pride in being a grandfather to five grandchildren: Nicole Surlin(Stephen), Ryan Beuglet, Kate Kolody, Jack Kolody, and Lauren Kolody. He also recently welcomed a great-grandson named Leon Morris Surlin. His family brought him immense happiness.

He had strong faith in God that guided him every day. Mo was very dedicated to supporting Ukraine and its independence efforts.

Cremation has taken place according to Mo’s wishes.

If you’d like to honor him with a gift instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Morris Kolody Scholarship Legacy Fund at Windsor Essex Community Foundation at WECF. ca.
