LALONDE, Mary Catherine (nee. Peltier)

May 15, 1958 – May 19, 2026

Mary passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends. She was a devoted Wife for 40 years to the late Kyle Lalonde. She leaves behind her sons Ryan (Simran) and Connor (Cassie). Proud Grandma to Gabby and Kylan, as well as Grandma Mary to Taylor. Her memory will be cherished by Melissa and Kevin Bridgen. She was predeceased by her Parents William and Patricia Peltier (nee. Parkyn). Mary will be greatly missed by her Brothers; Paul (Sheila), William (Claire), and John (Karen). She was a loving Sister-in-law to Sean and Beth Lalonde and Stephen Lalonde. As an Aunt, she cared deeply for Stephanie, Rachelle, Matthew, Korey, Dylan, Alexis, Logan, Keegan, and Chase. Her extended family and close friends will also miss her dearly, especially Lori Smith; her best friend for over 60 years.

For more than 40 years, Mary took pride in her work as a dedicated dispatcher and logistics professional. Known for being a caring Mother and doting Grandma, she touched many lives with her kindness. Her Catholic faith played an important role in her life.

The family wishes to express heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the T2B Palliative Care Unit at Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, May 22, 2026 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm and again from 7:00pm – 9:00pm with parish prayers at 4:30pm at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (CENTRAL) 519-253-7234 located at 1700 Tecumseh Rd E. A second visitation will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 9:30am at Most Precious Blood Church at 1947 Meldrum Rd., followed by the funeral service at 10:00am. Cremation will occur afterward with internment planned for a later date.
