1976 – 2026

The family of Gaileen Blaise – Keshane from Yorkton is heartbroken to announce her passing on January 3, 2026. Gaileen was 49 years old.

Gaileen was predeceased by her son Jade Beaulieu; her mother, Annette Blaise; her biological parents, Eugene and Cora Keshane; brothers, Francis, Cameron and Darwin; and her dear nephew Yotin Ironstand.

Gaileen will be greatly missed by her father, Roger Blaise; her children, Seth (Krystal) and Eugene (Chey); her adopted daughters Nadine and Tawny; her lovely grandchildren Curtis, Caleb and Brooklyn; as well as her siblings Warren (Roberta), Maxine (Jerry), Beverley (Lee), Ryan (Vivian), Carletta, Cynthia, Arthur and Louisa (Joe); along with many nieces and nephews she cared for deeply.

Gaileen was an outgoing person who loved to laugh and enjoy a good tease. She cherished her friends and family, enjoyed traveling, attended Church regularly and actively participated in community events. With hard work, she earned a degree from the University of Regina where she obtained a Bachelor of Social Work degree. She devoted herself to helping others & always promoted sobriety.

The Wake took place on Friday, January 9th, 2026 at Brunos Place in Yorkton, SK. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at Brunos Place followed by the Waywayseecappo First Nation Band Hall and then burial at Waywayseecappo Traditional Cemetery with casket bearers Travis Keshane, Tegan Sutherland, Theran Isaac, Jackson Rain, Tyrell Keshane and Warren Jr. Keshane.

Arrangements were entrusted to Bailey’s Funeral Home.
