Felice Antonio Mognon
January 19, 1931 – January 13, 2026
Felice Antonio Mognon passed away peacefully on January 13, 2026, at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Monastiero in San Martino di Lupari, Padova, Italy, to the late Ettore and Adelia Mognon.
Felice was a devoted husband to Imelda (nee Petrin) for 62 years and a caring father to sons Ettore (Ursula) and Dino (Nancy). As a proud Nonno, he cherished his grandchildren Daniel, Alexa, Anna-Christina, Alexander, and Thomas. He was predeceased by his sisters Maria Luisa Sidotti (Eugenio, deceased) and Orielle but is survived by his brother Luigi (Lucia). He will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends in both Canada and Italy.
In 1954, Felice made the move to Canada where he created a wonderful life while keeping his love for Italy close to heart. Family meant everything to him; nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed woodworking and baking and loved sharing stories from his past.
Felice will be remembered as someone who held strong values with kindness and generosity. He worked for Dominion Forge of Canada for many years and was proud to be a member of the Giovanni Caboto Club for over 50 years. His spirit of love, resilience, and Italian heritage will remain in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
