Joan Gail Daley, at the age of 69, passed away suddenly but peacefully in her home on August 25, 2026. She worked for Bell Canada as a Telephone Operator for many years and later joined Nurse’s Registry. After retiring, she dedicated her time to knitting and generously donated numerous items to those in need, including Grace Place and Shelter House. Joan was always willing to help anyone who asked. She is survived by her son Chris, brothers John (Pam), Mark (Karmen), Steve, brother-in-law Abby Baker, nieces and nephews Cory, Kevin (Kariann), Tara (Steve Morin), Ashley (Greg Campbell), Chantelle and Brendan, along with many great nieces and nephews. Joan was preceded in death by her parents John and Joan Daley, sister Edna Baker, grandparents, aunts and uncles. In line with Joan’s wishes, cremation has occurred. A Celebration of Life will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to Grace Place, Shelter House or any charity of your choice.
