WATSON, Elizabeth Alison (nee Durant) – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday August 9, 2026 at the age of 78. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald (2025). Loving mother to Lisa (Dylan), Sheri (Dominik), and a proud grandmother to Aleksander. She will be missed dearly by her brother Desmond and family in Barbados, along with many extended relatives and friends.
Born in Bridgetown, Barbados, Liz moved to Canada in 1967, where she met her future husband Donald. They spent many years living in Burlington, Ontario with their two daughters. Liz dedicated nearly 20 years working in the Parish Office at St. Luke’s Anglican Church. Many will remember her for her commitment to family, sense of humor, and strength.
