Edgar “Eddy” Charles Mann, 53, from Quebec, Canada, passed away on September 17, 2025. He was born on July 6, 1972. Eddy worked hard as the owner-operator of his own semi truck. Partnering with Deck X, he proudly transported loads from Canada all the way to the United States. The open road wasn’t just a job for him – it was a lifestyle. Eddy loved every mile he traveled, the sights he experienced, and the friendships he built along the way.
Eddy had a natural talent for making others laugh. He always had a joke ready and could brighten anyone’s day with his humor and laid-back attitude. When he wasn’t driving, you could find him enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and camping or simply spending time in nature with friends. Most importantly, he treasured his family above all else. Being “Grandpa” filled him with joy; he adored every moment spent with his grandchildren Zachary Mann, Olivier Mann, and Onyx Stamina – always eager to spoil them and create wonderful memories.
Eddy is survived by his devoted wife Lise Mann and their children: Phillipe Mann (Cynthia Miles), Nathan Mann, Rachel Mann, Chantal Stamina (Jordan), and Eric Whissell. He will also be deeply missed by his parents Kevin Mann and Denise Meloche; sister Kimberly Mann (Ghislain Vernier); step-sister Lori Mann; and step-brother Stewart Pecarve. His loyal dog Bruno was always by his side.
Those who knew Eddy will remember him for his warmth, humor, and genuine spirit. He leaves behind countless stories from the road, cherished moments with family and friends, and a legacy of love that will always be remembered.
