A person has died following a crash on Highway 407 in Oakville. Last night, around 11:55 p. m., officers from the Highway 407 detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a single-vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on the eastbound side of Highway 407 near Trafalgar Road in Oakville. A 25-year-old man from North York was declared dead at the scene. All eastbound lanes of Highway 407 at Trafalgar Road and the eastbound on-ramp were shut down for an investigation, with support from OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Reconstructionist. All lanes have since been reopened. The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone who may have seen the accident or has dashcam footage from that area around that time is encouraged to reach out to the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
