Monty the hound has found a new home after spending 450 days at the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton and Halton (Humane Society of Oakville, Milton and Halton/Instagram). After waiting for 450 days at the Humane Society of Oakville, Milton and Halton, Monty the male hound has finally been adopted by his new owner Dave. The humane society had been sharing updates about Monty’s time there since he arrived over 14 months ago from another shelter. Thanks to the kind donations from Mars Petcare and the PEDIGREE Foundation, Monty’s adoption fee was completely covered. The society ran a social media campaign throughout March under the “#montymonthtakeover” tag, encouraging weekend visits to meet Monty at the shelter.
