Region of Peel – The Central Robbery Bureau (C. R. B.) has taken two people into custody and charged them in connection with an armed carjacking that took place in Mississauga.
It’s reported that on Thursday, June 19, 2025, the suspects confronted the victim as he was getting out of his car in the driveway of a home on Mineola Road. One suspect had a knife, while the other pretended to have a gun. They demanded the victim’s keys, watch, and cell phone. Afterward, they drove off in the victim’s vehicle, a 2023 Mercedes-Benz Maybach. Fortunately, the victim was unharmed.
The police located the stolen vehicle the following day.
Detectives identified one suspect early on and executed a search warrant at a residence in Brampton where 19-year-old Ekamveer Randhawa was arrested and charged with these Criminal Code offenses:
Robbery Wear Disguise with Intent Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
On Aug. 28, authorities arrested the second suspect, 20-year-old Parth Sharma from Oakville. He faces charges for these Criminal Code offenses:
Robbery Wear Disguise with Intent Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Drive while Disqualified.
Both suspects were held for a bail hearing and appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice.
