Police are looking into a “targeted” shooting that left one man injured in Oakville early Sunday morning.
Emergency services were alerted to the area of Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line at about 5:30 a. m. after reports of gunfire.
Upon arrival, officers found one man with injuries that weren’t life-threatening. He was taken to a hospital for care.
No suspects or vehicle descriptions have been provided yet, but detectives want to talk to anyone who might have dashcam footage recorded between 5 a. m. and 6:30 a. m. from these areas:
Lakeshore Road and Fourth Line, Oakville Lakeshore Road between Fourth Line and Southdown Road, Mississauga Ford Drive from Lakeshore Road to the QEW Winston Churchill Boulevard from Lakeshore Road to the QEW
