Peel police report that a woman has been charged with impaired operation following an accident in Mississauga, Ont., early Saturday morning.
According to a statement from Peel Regional Police shared with CBC Toronto, officers arrived at the intersection of Glen Erin Drive and Aquitaine Avenue around 1:40 a. m.
The crash involved two vehicles: a red Ford Explorer SUV and a Volkswagen SUV, both occupied by two people, Peel police mentioned.

All four individuals were taken to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious; however, none were life-threatening, added Peel police.
Peel paramedics informed CBC Toronto that two people were transported to the hospital in critical condition while the other two sustained minor injuries.
Peel police indicated that their investigation is ongoing. Roads in the vicinity were closed but reopened by 8 a. m. on Saturday.
