Organizers of the Great Outdoors Comedy Festival have announced that their weekend comedy lineup in Mississauga, Ont., has been postponed.
The reason behind the delay at Erindale Park isn’t clear right now, but the festival mentioned in a notice on its website that this choice was made after “careful consideration.”
The notice states that postponing the event will help organizers put on the best show possible.
This annual comedy festival features events across Canada and the United States, showcasing performers like Matt Rife, Nikki Glaser, Kevin Hart, and John Mulaney.
Mulaney, who was set to headline the Mississauga event, shared on social media Tuesday evening that he finds the decision unfortunate but plans to perform in the area soon.
The festival is looking into new dates for the shows and will reach out directly to those who already bought tickets.
This report by The Canadian Press was first Sept. 9, 2026.
