Part of Highway 403 is shut down in Mississauga due to a crash.

The westbound lanes are completely closed at Hurontario Street.

Traffic camera images show cars being redirected off the highway onto Hurontario.

There’s a significant traffic jam in the area, extending to Highway 410.

Ontario Provincial Police mentioned that injuries from the accident are being evaluated.

“Expect a prolonged closure during the on-site investigation and clean-up efforts,” OPP said.

“Please use alternate routes.”

No additional details about the incident were immediately available. OPP stated they would provide updates.
