A man from Brampton has died after a multi-vehicle accident in Mississauga early Saturday morning.

According to the Ontario Provincial Police, just after midnight, two vehicles and a pedestrian were involved in a crash on the southbound lanes of Highway 410 near Derry Road East.

The pedestrian who was hit, a 48-year-old man from Brampton, was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other reported injuries.

The highway remained closed for five hours while police investigated the incident, but they do not suspect foul play in connection with the man’s death.
