MARKHAM – York Region police report that they have charged a 61-year-old psychologist with sexual assault involving a child at a clinic in Markham, Ont.
According to police, the child attended an appointment near John Street and Bayview Avenue last week.
During this visit, authorities claim the psychologist gave the child a massage and touched them inappropriately.
Fortunately, they say the child was not physically harmed.
The police conducted a search of a residence in Markham on Saturday and charged the 61-year-old with sexual assault and sexual interference.
The authorities suspect there may be additional victims and have shared a photo of the accused on their website.
