A vulnerable person who was missing in Markham, Ont., early Friday has been located, York police announced in a news release on Monday.
In a post on social media platform X, York Regional Police shared that the woman was last seen between 2 and 4 a. m. on Friday in the vicinity of Highway 7 E. and Birchmount Avenue.
York police provided a description of the woman late Friday as they expressed concern for her safety along with her family. They have since removed her photo and details from their website updates.
