With summer just around the corner, festival season is kicking off in the Greater Toronto Area.
As we start filling our schedules with events, one of Canada’s biggest and most awaited cultural festivals is definitely worth marking down.
Taste of Asia is back for three days in Markham, from June 26 to 28, with no entry fee.
Located on Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue East, this festival started over twenty years ago in 2003 and attracts more than 180,000 attendees each year.
Visitors can look forward to over 100 food vendors serving up authentic Asian street food, desserts, and drinks, as well as many local businesses to check out.
The event will also feature live performances including music, dance, martial arts, and cultural shows across multiple stages. Plus, there’ll be a fun carnival packed with family-friendly activities.
“Whether you’re exploring delicious street food, enjoying live cultural performances, or discovering local vendors and creators, Taste of Asia offers something for everyone – and invites you to be part of a celebration that’s about culture, connection, and community,” say the organizers.
“The Taste of Asia Festival is more than a celebration – it’s a platform to support, connect, and inspire.”
