London police are reaching out for help from the community as they look for two teenagers who were last seen about two weeks ago in the southeast part of the city.
Miyah Cooper-Leroux, 15, and Ayden Cooper-Leroux, 14, were spotted together near Adelaide Street South and Maud Street close to Chelsea Green Park at around 7 a. m. ET on Jan. 16, according to the London Police Service (LPS).
“You can call the London Police Service at any time,” said Const. Matt Dawson. “If you believe you know where these missing children are, you should absolutely be calling us.”
Investigators think that the two teens might still be together, and family members along with police are worried about their safety.
Miyah is described as white with long dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue Nike sweater, beige jeans and white Nike Air Force shoes, and may be carrying a black Reebok backpack.
Ayden is described as white with shaggy brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black Nike pants, a black Nike sweater and black and red Nike Air Force shoes, and may be carrying a light blue Nike backpack.
Authorities are urging anyone who has information about where the teens might be to get in touch with the London Police Service or Crime Stoppers. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online.
The LPS reminds everyone that a person can be reported missing at any time, emphasizing that there’s no need to wait 24 hours before contacting police if there are concerns for safety.
