A strong winter storm has led to school cancellations for students in the Waterloo Region on Thursday.
All schools and facilities under the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and the Waterloo Region District School Board are closed due to the severe weather conditions.
Before and after-school programs, along with child care centres, are also not operating today.
Additinally, community programs at local schools won’t be running on Thursday, which includes all offerings from St. Louis Continuing Education and Adult Learning Centres.
