Authorities are looking into a break-in that took place at a fire station in Wellesley.

Waterloo Regional Police stated that an unknown number of intruders accessed the station on Adelaide Street and made off with some items.

The incident occurred just before 7 a. m. on Thursday.

As the investigation progresses, anyone with information is encouraged to reach out to the police at 519-570-9777, extension 8255.

You can also provide anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Continuing to investigate a report of a break and enter on Adelaide Street in Wellesley Township.
