1. CAL Causeway Classic

Dec. 27-30 at Invista Centre, 1350 Gardiners Rd.: Join in or watch the CAL Causeway Classic – a holiday house league hockey tournament. The CAL and Fort Henry Minor Hockey invite your team to join our annual holiday season house league tournament. The Causeway Classic takes place on pads at both the Invista Centre and Constantine Arena, located at Canadian Forces Base Kingston. 2. 5k Fun Run

Saturday, Dec. 27, starting at 10 a. m. at 270 Princess St.: Gather outside Lululemon for a casual social run of 5K. Runners of all ages and skill levels are invited to come along. New runners are always welcome! This event is hosted by Lululemon Kingston Run Club.

3. The Absolutely Best Holiday Impro/Party Game Event of December

Sunday, Dec. 28, from 6:30 p. m. to 9:15 p. m., at Daft Brewing, located at 768 Princess St.: This is an awesome social gathering for young adults (around ages 20-35) at Daft Brewing. Expect fun party games and improv activities for an evening filled with laughter! Food and drinks will be available along with plenty of time for mingling with others. Cover charge is $5.

4. New Year’s Eve (Wednesday, Dec.31):

– Kingston Frontenac vs Guelph Storm – New Year’s Eve Bash – starts at 2:05 p. m., held at Slush Puppie Place located at One Tragically Hip Way. Tickets can be purchased online through slushpuppieplace. com/events or directly at Slush Puppie Place’s box office.
