Officers in Kingston, Ont., reported that they stopped a man for running a red light on Thursday and ended up discovering he was carrying a small, foldable pistol.
The Kingston Police stated that an officer pulled over a man on an electric bicycle after he ran through a red light near Bath and Palace roads.
Upon stopping the 55-year-old, officers found out he had an outstanding arrest warrant.
During the search, police discovered he had a “small black rectangular object” which turned out to be a.22-calibre, single-shot pistol.
Images shared by the police closely resemble a product from American company Trailblazer, which describes its foldable pistol as being about the size of a pack of gum and states it can hold three additional bullets within its handle.

The authorities charged the man with carrying a concealed weapon, unauthorized possession of a firearm and prohibited or restricted weapon possession, along with possessing a weapon for dangerous purposes.
