Community Futures Week runs until Sunday.
From September 21st to 27th, Community Futures groups all over Ontario are coming together to celebrate Community Futures Week 2026. They’re recognizing the individuals, businesses, partnerships, and communities that contribute to the growth of rural Ontario.
The idea behind Community Futures is that local communities know their needs, challenges, and opportunities best. By providing business financing, advisory services, and community economic development programs right in the area, these organizations support entrepreneurs and businesses aiming to start, expand or strengthen their operations.
This local assistance also fosters job creation, stimulates investment, and helps build stronger and more resilient communities throughout rural Ontario.
During Community Futures Week, residents and businesses can join a series of webinars that showcase the initiatives taking place across the province.
