Toonie Bet announces multi-year partnership with the CFL’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats Deal includes naming rights for the club level, a premium setting area, at Hamilton Stadium Toonie Bet launched a licensed igaming platform in Ontario at the end of 2024

Toonie Bet is joining forces with the CFL. The Ontario-based sportsbook and casino brand has inked a multi-year agreement to become the exclusive i Gaming partner for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats-this deal features naming rights for the premium club level at Tim Hortons Field.

Toonie Bet is establishing a lasting presence at Tim Hortons Field with two dedicated fan areas. Off the field, both Toonie Bet and the Ticats will roll out digital contests, interactive promotions, and fan-first events throughout the year.

The Tiger-Cats have been part of this city since 1950 when they were founded and boast a dedicated fanbase that extends throughout Hamilton and beyond. The team has won eight Grey Cups.

Stadium Naming Rights

This collaboration aligns well with Toonie Bet’s broader strategy in Ontario, which emphasizes creating hyper-local customer experiences to boost engagement,” said Daniel Madmon, Head of Toonie Bet Canada. “By partnering with an iconic Canadian team like the Tiger-Cats, Toonie Bet aims to enhance its visibility through experiences that are entertaining and resonate with sports fans across Ontario.”

Last year, Toonie Bet became an Official Partner of the CFL. Madmon mentioned that since then, they have noticed double-digit growth in active-player days and retention.

Ontario-Based Sportsbook

“A significant driver of this engagement is the MEGA gamification engine, which allows Canadian bettors to interact with personalized missions and rewards,” he said. “The Tiger-Cats partnership adds another layer to that personalization and localization by providing Canadian players with a platform that feels close to home.”

Madmon expressed that this partnership offers an experience tailored specifically for local fans compared to what other licensed igaming operators might offer.

“Aligning with major local institutions like the Tiger-Cats helps legitimize our brand and build trust within the community,” said Madmon. “These team partnerships are essential because they let us be part of game day experiences and connect meaningfully with supporters all season long.”
