The Burlington detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is looking for witnesses to a crash that happened on Friday at 11:10 a. m. in the Fort Erie bound lanes of the QEW highway, just before the Nikola Tesla Blvd / Woodward Ave exit in Hamilton.

Three vehicles were involved in this collision, which led to five people being taken to local hospitals with minor injuries. Authorities have received tips suggesting that road rage may have played a role in what caused the crash. Police are hoping to find anyone who may have seen the incident or has dashcam footage of the crash or any related events leading up to it.

If you have any information, please contact the Burlington detachment at (905) 681-2511 or reach out to the Provincial Communications Centre at 1-888-310-1122 and reference occurrence # E260850076.

Witnesses can also report anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
