One person has died and six others have been injured in a serious head-on crash in the Hamilton area.
Emergency services received a call about the collision on Highway 8, located between Safari Road and Studiman Road, at around 6:45 a. m.
According to provincial police, one vehicle had two occupants while the other car contained five individuals.
An adult passenger was declared dead at the scene, and another person was airlifted to the hospital by Air Ornge. The remaining five individuals are currently being treated at local hospitals for various injuries. Details about their injuries haven’t been made available yet.
An investigation is ongoing to find out what led to this crash.
