A young man from Paris, Ontario is set to appear in Guelph court this September to respond to charges related to impaired driving due to alcohol and drugs.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning when the driver veered off the road and crashed into a tree.
Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police reported that this took place in the Guelph-Eramosa Township area.
“The driver received minor injuries as a result of the collision but did not require medical attention at the scene,” noted police.
“A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.”
19-year-old Jackson Illerbrun from Paris has since been charged.
