BURLINGTON, ONT. – Authorities west of Toronto report that a 24-year-old man has died following a targeted shooting in a mall parking lot late at night.
Halton regional police are currently looking for two suspects who escaped the scene in a white SUV.
Officers arrived at the Burlington Centre Mall parking lot around 10:10 p. m. on Monday.
The victim has been identified as Omer Niaz Muhammad from Burlington.
No arrests have been made yet, according to police.
Officials believe this was a targeted attack and say there are no ongoing threats to public safety.
