(Photo Courtesy of Halton Regional Police Service) A man from Hamilton has been charged following a tragic hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a woman pedestrian in late August. Halton police took William Mc Arthur, 61, into custody in Oakville on Tuesday. Mc Arthur faces charges for failing to stop after an accident that caused death at the intersection of Maple Avenue and Richmond Road on Aug. 27 around 3:45 p. m. He has been released from custody but is required to appear in court on Nov. 25.
