Three men have been arrested and charged, a warrant has been issued for a fourth, and over $2.3 million worth of suspected fentanyl has been seized in an interprovincial drug bust, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.

The seized suspected fentanyl is equal to about 180,000 potentially lethal doses, the OPP said in a news release Wednesday.

Police said the OPP-led task force launched the investigation in the Greater Toronto Area in May 2025. The focus was an alleged fentanyl trafficking network operating between Ontario and Alberta.

The OPP said police identified a network of people allegedly trafficking fentanyl between the GTA and Calgary.

Calgary police, Winnipeg police and the RCMP, among other police forces, were involved.

One Brampton man, 20, and two Calgary men, 21 and 23, were charged after police executed a search warrant at a location on Albright Road in Brampton on Feb. 10. Police said they seized 18 kilograms of suspected fentanyl and three cell phones.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a fourth man, 21, also of Calgary.

3 arrested, charged due to appear in court this week

The Brampton man has been charged with conspiracy to commit an indictable offence, trafficking fentanyl and three counts of trafficking fentanyl, among other offences. He has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in a Brampton courtroom Friday.

The 23-year-old Calgary man was taken into custody in Winnipeg on a Canada-wide warrant related to the investigation. He faces charges including conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and three counts of trafficking. He was due to appear in Brampton court on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old Calgary man was arrested in Calgary on Feb. 24 and faces charges including conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear in a Brampton courtroom on Friday.

Police said the fourth man is wanted on charges including trafficking and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
