CLEARVIEW – Provincial police report that a pilot is hospitalized after his plane crashed west of Barrie, Ont.
According to OPP, officers were called to the scene of the aircraft crash near Clearview Township on Saturday afternoon.
The plane came down in a forested area.
Authorities found the 46-year-old pilot with injuries that aren’t life-threatening, and he was taken to a nearby hospital.
Later, the pilot was airlifted to a trauma center in the Toronto area.
The OPP noted that Transport Canada has been informed about the incident.
