Authorities in Barrie are on the lookout for a 28-year-old man related to a stabbing that occurred early this morning.
Officials report they received a call about an incident at the intersection of Anne Street North and Donald Street, north of Dunlop Street West, shortly after midnight. Upon arrival, they discovered a 43-year-old man with severe stab wounds.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition before being transported by air to a trauma center in Toronto.
Law enforcement is seeking Adam Myshak, 28, from Barrie in connection with the attack. He faces charges including possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon, and aggravated assault.
If anyone has information on Myshak’s location, they are advised not to approach him and to contact the police instead.
