JANUARY
CRIME FIGHTING: January is recognized as Crime Stoppers’ month. ROAST BEEF DINNER: Join us on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 4:30 to 7 p. m. in the clubroom at the Simcoe Legion. The meal features roast beef, soup, mashed potatoes with horseradish and gravy, mixed vegetables, rolls with butter, and a variety of pies. Cost is $16. All are welcome.
CHICKEN WINGS: Enjoy takeout or dine-in at the Waterford Legion on Jan. 27. The hall opens at 4:45 p. m., with orders taken in person starting then and serving begins at 5 p. m. Wings cost $12, onion wings are $5 and fries are $4. Don’t forget to bring your own bag for takeout.
