Two teenage boys were injured following a crash in Whitby.
On Thursday evening at 8:30 p. m., Durham police responded to a single vehicle accident on Duffs Road, just south of Townline Road West.
According to reports, an Audi sedan was heading north on Duffs Road when it lost control, veered off the road, and burst into flames.
A 16-year-old boy sustained serious life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a trauma center in the Toronto area. His condition has since improved and is now stable.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
