An 18-year-old man has lost his life following a motorcycle accident south of Collingwood on Saturday, according to Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
In a news release Saturday, OPP stated they responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on County Road 9 in Clearview Township near Creemore, Ont. shortly before 2:45 p. m.
The man, who was from Brussels, Ont., was pronounced dead at the scene, police reported.
Police shut down County Road 9 in both directions for several hours between Lavender Hill Road and South Nottawasaga Concession 9 while officers conducted their investigation. The road has since been reopened.
