Police in London, Ont., are looking into two separate shootings that occurred at different locations in the city.
The first incident happened on Sunday at 12:45 a. m. when officers were called to a townhouse complex on Limberlost Road in the north-west part of the city. Authorities discovered evidence indicating that a gun had been fired. While no injuries were reported, both a vehicle and a home were hit by bullets.
Investigators believe that neither the vehicle nor the home was meant to be targeted, police said.
Later that day, officers responded to another shooting near Cheapside and Mc Nay Street in the east end, where they again found signs that shots had been fired. This incident is thought to have taken place between May 7 around 10:30 p. m. and May 8 at 1 a. m.
A residence and a trailer were also struck by bullets during this event. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
Authorities are asking anyone who might have video footage or was present in either area during those times to reach out to the London Police Service.
They’re particularly interested in footage from around Cheapside Street and Mc Nay Street between May 7 at 10:30 p. m. and May 8 at 1 a. m., as well as from Limberlost Road between 12:30 a. m. and 1 a. m. on May 10.
Both investigations are still in their early stages, according to police.
This marks the second and third reported shootings this month alone. Earlier on Sunday, a man suffered serious injuries following a shooting at an establishment on Richmond Row during the early morning hours.
