On Wednesday, January 1st, 2020, Janice Price, a loving partner, friend, and mother of two, sadly passed away at the age of 58. Janice was born on July 13th, 1961 in Windsor, Ontario. Janice lived in several places across Ontario such as Kitchener, London, and Lasalle before finally settling down in Windsor. She worked closely with her mother at the land registry office. Art was Janice’s true passion; she loved to paint and had a deep appreciation for music. She was always involved in some creative project-whether painting eyeglass cases or full wall murals-her artwork brought her peace. Family and friends admired her beautiful paintings. Janice also had a love for gardening and an incredible green thumb; everything she planted flourished beyond expectations. Cooking was another one of her joys; everyone who tasted her dishes loved them too. She wasn’t afraid to try new recipes and often tackled the most challenging ones. Her meals were consistently delicious because she poured her heart into each dish using fresh ingredients from her wonderful gardens. Janice adored dogs, especially her long-time companion Angus. A true animal lover at heart, she frequently offered dog-sitting services to friends and family members. She was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, passionate spirit, and quick wit. Many will miss her dearly but will hold onto their fond memories of her. Janice is survived by Joe Hall, her partner in art and cooking as well as best friend for the past ten years; Reannon Price (Eric Welton) and Logan Price (Brooke Drakich), whom she cherished as wonderful children; exceptional stepchildren Heather Hall (Josh Masse) and Wesley Hall; beloved grandchildren June, Arlo, Evan, and Lucas; caring siblings Susan Tracey, Linda Benson, and Richard Benson; loving aunt to Connor, Taylor, Charlotte, Karly, and Mitchell; stepmother Beverley Tracey; and very best friend/cousin Cheryl Garvey. Janice is predeceased by her father Donald Tracey and mother Elaine Tracey-Friest along with brother-in-law Michael Kyryliuk. Family and friends are invited to gather at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd E 519-253-7234 on Saturday January 11th , 2020 from 2pm to 4pm to celebrate her life together.
