Bert Roberts, born Herbert Andrew, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Campbell House, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old. Bert was a devoted husband to Helen for 52 years and a proud father to Ben (Josephine Mazzuca) Roberts and Donna (Lorne) Bell. His grandsons Andrew and Gabriel will hold onto his memory forever. Born at home in Nottawa to Leonard and Pearl Roberts, who have both passed away, he will be greatly missed by his brother Edward (Gail) and sister Doreen (Al) Mc Lean. Bert was an important figure in his church and community and will be remembered fondly by everyone who knew him. Family and friends are invited to Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Sunday, February 18, 2018, from 2-4 & 7-9 p. m. The funeral service will take place in the chapel at 1 p. m. on Monday, February 19, 2018. A reception will follow at Nottawa United Church with spring interment planned at Trinity United Cemetery.
