Huguette Forsythe, 79, of Haverhill MA passed away peacefully on March 20, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to Francois and Rita Deschenes in Saint-Jean-De-La-Lande in Quebec, Canada and moved to the United States when she was 18 years old.
She had a great sense of humor and was always active. For many years, she worked at Malden Mills. Once her grandchildren arrived, she took care of them several days a week which brought her immense joy. She truly adored them.
Huguette was beautiful inside and out; she was strong, brave, and loved her family fiercely. As a devoted wife, a caring mother and Memere, and a wonderful sister, she’ll be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unconditional love.
She is predeceased by her husband Gilles Pinet. She is survived by her husband James Forsythe with whom she shared many happy years. Also surviving are her daughter Marilyn Pinet; her son Glenn Pinet; his wife Jennifer; their three children-grandson Aaron and his wife Brittany along with their great grandson Noah; grandson Aiden; and granddaughter Ashlyn. Her siblings Nicole and Jacques Caron, Francine and Jean Dube, Ginette Deschenes, and Lizette Deschenes also survive along with their families. She is predeceased by brothers Nelson Deschenes and Jean-Guy Deschenes.
A private gathering for family and close friends will take place on Thursday April 9, 2026 from 10am-12pm at John Breen Memorial Funeral home located at 35 Merrimack Street N., Andover MA followed by brunch at Mill Haven 60 Island Street Suite 83 Lawrence MA for family and close friends.
Those who loved her will carry her memory in their hearts. She set an incredible example as a mother, wife, and grandmother. We will all miss having her in our lives.
