William Glenn CANADA

CANADA, William Glenn November 7, 1938 – February 14, 2016. He was the son of Kenneth James and Wanda Elizabeth (Fry) Canada and the brother of Sharon Elizabeth Canada Small and Robert James Canada. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Constance Conte Canada. William was a father to Natalie Allen (Kevin), Jim Canada, Joe Canada, Gary Conte, and John Conte. He had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. After graduating from Logansport High School in Indiana, he served in the Marines from 1957 to 1963 as an auto mechanic and Chaplin’s assistant. For over three decades, he worked at the Press Democrat. He also volunteered with St. Vincent de Paul to help those in need. In his free time, he loved golfing, fishing, sharing funny stories, and spending time with his family. Connie Conte Canada was the love of his life; they met on Valentine’s Day 39 years ago. He will be loved and missed forever. Friends and family are welcome to join the Funeral Liturgy on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00 a. m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY located at 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 11:00 a. m. to 5:00 p. m. at the Mortuary. Interment will follow at Cypress Hill Memorial Park in Petaluma.
