Express lanes are closed in both directions on a busy Ontario highway following a roll-over accident in Mississauga on Monday.

The incident took place on Highway 401 at Mavis Road shortly before 5 p. m., as stated by the OPP Highway Traffic Safety Division.

Images from the scene reveal a dump truck that overturned against the barrier of the eastbound express lanes, with gravel spilled into the westbound lanes.

Peel Regional Paramedic Services reports that there were no injuries.

All eastbound express lanes have been shut down, along with two westbound express lanes. Police indicate heavy traffic in the area and advise drivers to exercise caution or consider alternate routes if possible.
