An attempted break-in in Vaughan early Tuesday morning resulted in multiple arrests, including charges against the homeowner, who reportedly fired a gun at the intruders during the incident.
According to York Regional Police on social media, they received a call around 4:05 a. m. regarding a home near Teston Road and Pine Valley Drive, where several suspects were allegedly trying to steal a vehicle.

Police later confirmed with that the homeowner has also been charged for firing their weapon. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
The suspects involved include three adults and one youth facing charges related to attempted break-and-enter as well as attempted vehicle theft.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
