Durham Police responded to a call about an armed individual at a townhouse complex in Oshawa early Sunday morning, where they found a group of young people shooting a music video with two loaded guns.
Officers were alerted to a man waving a firearm while with others and arrived at the scene near Park Road and Saguenay Avenue around 2:40 a. m. Sunday to see several individuals in two cars making a music video.
Police removed everyone from the vehicles and discovered two firearms with loaded magazines.
Villatoro and the 16-year-old were held for bail hearings. Barclay Dylon Tajay Barclay, 19, from Whitby, Juan Pablo Alejandro Villatoro, 20, from Clarington, along with a 17-year-old and another 16-year-old from Oshawa were all charged with possession of a firearm without a license, possession of loaded firearms, and occupying a vehicle with firearms.
The 16-year-old also faced charges for failing to comply with a release order.
Villatoro and the male teenager were held for their bail hearing. Barclay and the 17-year-old were released on undertakings.
